The aim of this conference is to provide an international perspective on quality and safety initiatives that optimise medicines use. The programme is based on the belief that by focusing on quality and safety, not only do we get improved health outcomes but also save money.
This conference will explore advances in medicines management and medicines optimisation across a range of settings.
Work in these areas has been characterised by international collaborations and the conference will feature experiences from a range of national perspectives.
The emphasis on the two day programme will be participative, particularly to equip delegates with the information and the tools to be able to apply the approach or influence change in their own settings. It will therefore be of particular interest to policy makers, managers, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals with responsibility for medicines management.
