Baby septicaemia cases linked to ‘sourced single raw ingredient’

A recall of a limited number of batches that could potentially have been affected has been instituted and all stock has been removed from circulation.
Given this action, she continued, there is no reason for patients, their families or healthcare professionals to be concerned.

Eighteen babies, many premature, have shown signs of blood poisoning at nine hospitals in England, and Yousef Al-Kharboush, a nine-day old boy, died.
