The BioIndustry Association (BIA) holds its Annual Bioscience Forum in London on Thursday 1 October, bringing together key players in the biotechnology sector as it works to develop a thriving and innovative environment for the industry.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Dr Clive Dix will highlight the BIA’s recent success in lobbying for changes in the UK life sciences environment, as well as its plans for future action.
Dame Helena Shovelton, CEO of the British Lung Foundation, will deliver the conference Keynote Presentation, in which she will discuss the work of the charity and its role in respiratory research. Her speech will be followed by parallel tracks in areas such as Collaboration, Innovation and Business Development; Communications; Intellectual Property Hot Topics; and Talent Management. These will provide companies with important updates and insights into the approaches needed to grow in the ever-changing environment.
