RAVENSBURG, Germany–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dirk Niebel, Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, stopped today at Vetter’s Ravensburg Vetter South facility during a regional tour.
Vetter is an independent international specialist in the aseptic filling of drug-delivery systems.

Vetter, whose staff numbers 2,300 in Europe and the United States, works with the world´s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
The service provider fills syringes, cartridges and vials with innovative drugs that treat a range of diseases, including cancer, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Niebel toured the company’s Ravensburg Vetter South, which is considered one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the world.
In 2007, the year it began operations, the production site received the “Facility of the Year Award” for process innovation and the “European Outsourcing Award” as most improved process/plant/facility.
