We are delighted to announce that Iain Gray, Chief Executive Officer, Technology Strategy Board will deliver the keynote presentation at the 2010 Thistle Bioscience Forum.
The Forum, which will be held on Thursday 4 February 2010 in central Edinburgh, will focus on business development and showcase the best of Scotland bioscience. It will be the ideal opportunity to hear about the latest developments and opportunities for Scotland.
The sessions will focus on a number of issues. Firstly, the angel investor landscape where there will be a talk from Alida Capital, Kelvin Capital and Excalibur on current and future investment activities. Also, talks on business development beyond geographical boundaries – deal makers outside the UK.
Issues on regenerative and personalised medicine – opportunities for Scotland will be raised and the scottish company showcase. This is where six Scottish companies will jump on the business development soapbox to overview their technologies, services and/or products.There will be opportunities to hear from leading speakers first-hand.
