The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE)today welcomes the announcement of additional topics for its forwardwork programme. Topics including new treatments for breast and lungcancer, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, obesity and rheumatoidarthritis have been referred to NICE by the Secretary of State forHealth and the Welsh Assembly Government, in line with the nationalpriorities they have established for the NHS.
