A major drug maker has warned about a shortage of its hypertension drug due to manufacturing problems.
Pfizer said there will be a reduced supply of Cardura XL (doxasozin mesilate) 8mg until October.
A spokeswoman for the drug manufacturer said: “We make every effort to ensure that our products are in stock at all times but have been experiencing delays due to manufacturing issues.
“We regret any inconvenience caused by this and advise patients or carers concerned by this or any aspect of their medication to contact their clinicians for further advice.”
