Drug companies and healthcare public relations consultancies have been urged to pay closer attention to reputation management by focusing on sustainability and stakeholder management.

The call was made to delegates at the Pharmaceutical Responsibility and Reputation Conference, held at the multi-campus Thames Valley University (TVU), which saw 11 industry heads sharing best practice.

Speakers included senior staff from Johnson and Johnson, Procter and Gamble, Janssen-Cilag, Pfizer, Novartis, Roche, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, Wyeth and the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.
