Industry welcomes Life Sciences Business Advisor

The UK’s life sciences trade associations – the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI), the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), the BioIndustry Association (BIA) and the British In Vitro Diagnostic Association (BIVDA) – today welcomed the appointment of Chris Brinsmead as the government’s new Life Sciences Business Advisor.

In partnership with industry and government, Chris will play a vital role in helping the government to deliver a UK life sciences environment that promotes innovation and sector growth and ensures that patients have access to the latest medicines and medical technologies.
