A cardiopulmonary diagnostics firm has announced it is relocating its corporate headquarters to a 74,800 square foot campus in Longmont, Colorado.

NSpire Health said the move is a result of its growth in the respiratory diagnostics, clinical trials, and disease management sectors.

The facility will help create new manufacturing lines, and boasts dedicated respiratory core lab facilities, a customer care and data centre, and a training site for the firm’s hospital and pharmaceutical customers.

Michael Sims, president and CEO, said: “Since the company’s acquisition of Ferraris Respiratory in November of 2006, we continue to advance our vision of revolutionising the way the world detects and treats respiratory diseases.

“This announcement is important for the future growth and expansion of nSpire Health, reflecting our commitment to our employees and customers in all of the markets we serve. We expect to dramatically improve productivity by having our USA design, product development, administrative, sales, and marketing functions under one roof in a first-class facility.

“The move also provides for enhanced support to nSpire Health’s satellite facilities in the UK and Germany, which continue to play an important role in our growth strategy.”

Dr Edmond Chu, vice-president of R&D, added the highly educated local workforce and access to quality engineering schools will be critical in assisting the company’s growing research and development programme.
