Royal Pharmaceutical Society new member categories

teaser

The United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA) General Committee unanimously supported and fully endorsed the proposal that pharmacy undergraduate students should be Student Members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and that pre-registration pharmacists should be Associate Members of the RPS.

The UKCPA has had a long and beneficial relationship with the British Pharmaceutical Students Association (BPSA) and all BPSA members are concurrently eligible members of UKCPA. Similarly, all pre-registration pharmacists are entitled to be UKCPA members.

As a clinical leadership association UKCPA believes that education, training and clinical support are fundamental for all practitioners within the pharmacy family, beginning with the undergraduate and pre-registration education period. Consequently, they believe there should be no barriers to membership of the national professional leadership body.

They urge all UKCPA members to actively participate in this Royal Pharmaceutical Society vote.
