The UKCPA awarded their third prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award on 20 November 2010 to Chris Acomb, a Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Leeds Teaching Hospital where he helped set up meetings to influence how hospital clinical pharmacy could be transferred into community practice.

Chris’s teaching role with pharmacists spans the grades (Preregistration, Diploma, Masters and Doctoral Level).

As well as teaching, he supports and encourages these pharmacists to develop their research skills and empowers them to write up and publish their research.
